Discover the Role

As an Accountant, you will be working in the Accounting and Tax compliance team responsible for providing efficient and quality service to an assigned portfolio of international clients.
In this role, you get a unique chance to develop your knowledge on the accounting requirements and demands of the different industries as well as operate and grow in a truly international environment.
The person we are looking for has already graduated specializing in accounting and/or finance and has at least two years of working experience. You will be working individually in the accounting and tax team and be responsible of your own clients and therefore we expect you to have a proactive approach to work as well as ability to work independently.

We wish you have experience in reporting, year-end and accounting tasks and you're interested in different systems and working with variety of external clients. We wish you are quick and eager to learn as well as adapt to different environments and systems of our client organizations.
Our future colleague will report to the Accounting and Tax Team Leader and will be supported for growth by the TMF Business Academy curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality delivery of accounting services to existing customers
• Check the accounting documents for compliance with the local regulations and the contracts
• Accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents
• Meet the established deadlines for each report
• Prepare statutory reports: Annual accounts, CIT, VAT, EU Sales List etc.
• AR/AP Invoices, reconciliations
• Communication with clients, tax advisors, lawyers, and other relevant parties to obtain the necessary information for reporting purposes

Key Requirements

• 2-5 years of working experience in accounting
• Proactive approach to work as well as ability to work independently
• Good knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
• Good command of written and verbal communication both in Finnish and English
• Studies in Economics, Accounting, Audit
• Experience in working with clients, would be considered an advantage
