We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist / Accountant to join a global SaaS company. In case, you already have some experience in accounting or finance and you are eager to work with analytical and detail-oriented mindset, keep on reading and apply as soon as possible. Kuvaus
The company and team are international, but their finance unit is mainly located in Helsinki, Finland. You will work closely with colleagues from the Finance team and other parts of the business and get support when you need it.
This position is available on a hybrid basis. We expect you to live in Helsinki or Uusimaa-area to be able to easily visit the office. The position is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities:
Your role will focus on Account Receivables and regular bookeeping tasks, but there is a possibility to expand your role in the future. Your working week could include for example:
- Invoicing and tracking invoices: Ensuring that customers receive invoices on time and that they are accurate.
- Receiving and recording payments: Monitoring and recording customer payments.
- Regular bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records by entering transactions into the accounting system, reconcile bank- and general ledger accounts.
- Reporting: Preparing reports to track the status of receivables.
- Assisting with Audits: Prepare documentation for audits, assist external auditors and help implement audit recommendations.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and accounting standards as well as assist in maintaining internal controls.
We are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices & some work experience from the field (internship experience is acceptable).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (Finnish is seen as a plus).
- You are based in Helsinki or Uusimaa-area, Finland.
