AFRY Future Stars programme consists of summer work and the suitable amount of part-time work alongside the studies. The program includes four training days, which support your development.
During the training days, you will learn important skills about working in the consulting business and finding your professional potential. As a Future Stars trainee you are supported by your manager and trainee network in finding your career path and developing you professionally. You will be also supported by your own tutor throughout the programme.
Work tasks are defined individually depending on the trainee’s situation, knowledge and interests. During the programme you can also negotiate about a possibility to write your thesis for AFRY. The programme begins in May 2025 and lasts for half year to one year.
We are looking for a Stars Trainee for our Engineering Management team!
Engineering Managers have the responsibility to lead, manage and control all engineering related activities in projects to deliver on requirements, budget and schedule. Engineering Managers are involved during the entire project lifecycle from the project development phase until the end of project implementation. Our team members are working with a broad range of different projects, both in Finland and abroad. The Future Star would start by working on the Quality Management of our project deliveries. Quality Management includes quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvements. The tasks of the AFRY Future Star includes development and implementation of Quality Management procedures for our projects.
Who are we looking for?
You are a student in Engineering, IT, Natural Sciences or Business at the end of your studies (3rd-5th year student).
You are a suitable Future Stars Trainee for our team if you have:
A broad technical skill set. Studies and/or work experience from process industry, chemistry and mining & metals are beneficial.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The following personal traits; cooperative / initiative taking / solution-oriented / conscientious.
Fluency in English.
It will be also considered beneficial if you have:
Knowledge about project work, either from your studies or previous work experience.
