Azure Development Specialist

We are looking for a Azure Development Specialist to work with Financial Hedging applications (Eva, FPI, Luna) in our client’s Corporate Customers and Markets division. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining advanced cloud-based solutions and implementing complex integrations that support the transition to cleaner energy. The role emphasizes Azure service integration and programming skills (such as Python and Scala), making it attractive to those who want to contribute to developing technology solutions that support sustainable development goals. The objectives for the work are to:

• Develop and implement modern, dynamic, online Power BI reporting to enhance data visualization and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Establish a comprehensive data collection process and create visual reports that integrate information from multiple sources to support informed decision-making.
• Continuously improve and maintain systems and services to adapt to the evolving business models, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  You can work remotely but we consider it an advantage if you are able to work at our office in Espoo.

Work tasks

• Develop and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions and manage service integrations (e.g., VMs, App Services, SQL Databases, Storage).
• Implement and optimize complex integrations, ensuring seamless compatibility between different Azure services.
• Configure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL Databases, and Storages
• Troubleshoot issues and develop innovative applications, such as hedging solutions using Python and/or Scala.
• Collaborate closely with different teams and test new technologies with a spirit of continuous improvement.

We are looking for

• Experience in using Microsoft Azure and strong expertise in implementing integrations
• Ability to configure and optimize Azure environments and connect various services into a functional whole
• Backend development experience with Python
• Great problem-solving skills
• Fluent English language skills
