Customer Quality Coordinator
What you’ll do:
Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. Campus is completed by the end of 2023, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs. As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.
We are looking for a Customer Quality Coordinator to our Critical Power Systems EMEA Business. We are developing and manufacturing large UPS Systems for large datacenter and other customers. Quality of products, components and processes is critical for reliable performance of these equipment. You will part of the Customer Quality Team, reporting to a Customer Quality manager, working to support our customers in data analysis, meeting preparations. You will be working in fast-paced environment within the Quality Team, and collaborating closely with the EMEA country organizations, as well as Eaton internal production and R&D departments. Your main role is to support Customer Quality Engineers in their work of analyzing and solving Quality problems. Your responsibilities include:
Gathering & Maintaining Field Quality information in Jira-based platform.
Preparing data for meetings, and capture action plans (meeting minutes).
Liaison with Plant manufacturing- carry over of pertinent and relevant information.
Liaison between customer quality and:- Sales, Customer Service, Tech support, Sustaining team.
Leading the coordination and follow up for retrieval of electronic erasable programmable memory, initial failure mode statements / findings.
Handling returns of parts.
Coordinating Lab time/activities.
Following up with due dates for Lab investigations.
Measurable outcome is Quality engineer is not waiting for information to begin failure analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Engineering, preferably in electrical domain
Relevant work experience in quality management, preferably in customer quality area
Background in manufacturing/production environment is advantage
Professional communication level of English and Finnish languages.
Good technical skills and IT skills in general
User level experience in MS Office
Experience in SAP is considered as advantage
Quality, solution focused and analytical mindset
Team player and proactive personality
