We are now looking for an Expert, Strategic Sourcing Solutions Development to join our Source to Pay Solutions Development team. The position is primarily located in Wrocław, Poland, or Tampere, Finland. Helsinki, Finland is also possible.

What you will do

• Act as the global functional subject matter expert for SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite functionalities and solutions (namely sourcing / contract management)

• Work together with the solution expert team to manage solution from end-to-end perspective

• Manage, oversee, and support in the day-to-day operations of your own functional area by bringing senior level expertise and advice

• Support global process owner to optimize, automatize and industrialize business processes with the digital solutions

• Participate in the business projects as a functional subject matter expert for further application of the digital solution

• Gather, document, assess and prioritize business requirements for technology in use and process improvement; perform and lead system configuration; prepare testing activities including system integration, migration, and issue resolution; develop the solution functionalities

• Lead development initiatives, guide, and influence others in your own area of expertise

• Maintain solution and process descriptions, and ensure trainings as well as documentation of your own process area’s solutions are up to date. Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing of best practices

• Build a well-functioning partnership with key UPM stakeholders & key supplier (SAP Ariba). Participate in beta programs and customer engagement initiatives to make sure that our voice is heard among other customer companies in overall feature development of the cloud solution

Who you are

• You have a Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area

• You have at least 3 years of working experience in source to contract process area i.e. strategic sourcing or supplier relationship management

• You have experience in administering and configuring SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite solutions, namely Sourcing module and Contracts module

• You are a proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication and influencing skills

• You have solid experience in Source-to-Contract (full Source-to-Pay considered as an asset) end-to-end process and solutions development, design, and deployment

• You are fluent in English. Additionally, skills in other languages relevant to UPM major markets are considered an asset
