Head of HR

Helmacab Oy (former Helkama Bica Oy) is looking for a Head of HR for a new role, responsible for and developing HR functions and a healthy culture as the company enters its next growth phase. The company has spun off from a former group and is now operating independently as a growing company, building a new culture while taking care of its professionals and the expertise developed over the years.

Responsibilities

In the Head of HR role, you will be comprehensively responsible for HR functions and their development. You will be an active partner to the management and supervisors, working closely with them to achieve strategic goals. You will develop the company's organizational culture and leadership. You will oversee recruitment, processes, compensation, and employee well-being, ensuring they function effectively and are continuously improved. You are familiar with employment matters, the collective agreements of the Technology Industry, and collaboration with employee representatives. Skills development will also play a significant role. You will coordinate outsourced payroll services, work with occupational healthcare providers, and serve as the main user of HR systems.

In this position, you will report to the CEO, and your office will be located in Kaarina. The job requires some travel, mainly to Hanko.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Strong experience in HR roles preferably with overall responsibility
• Knowledge of labor law and collective agreements (preferably in the Technology Industry)
• Experience in change management
• Experience in developing culture and/or employee well-being
• A positive, practical approach to execution
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A relevant higher university degree
• Proficiency in both Finnish and English
