HR Manager

We are looking for an HR Manager based in our Espoo office.

Are you an HR generalist with experience across the full spectrum of people processes and practices? We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to act as a trusted partner to our business, facilitating initiatives across the entire HR spectrum. In this role, you will primarily manage operational HR initiatives in Finland in a compliant manner, while also participating in strategic HR projects and tasks. You will be joining the Gasum Group HR team, which is a team of five professionals.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage all operational people processes throughout the employment lifecycle
• Interpret labor legislation, ensuring employment practices are compliant with the laws, regulations, and company policies
• Advise and support managers on HR issues, including employee relations, recruitments, work ability and well-being issues, ensuring all activities align with regulations and local labor laws
• Take part in implementation and development of common HR policies, procedures and processes according to the group strategy and HR plan in collaboration with HR colleagues
• Oversee remuneration and benefits, including job evaluations, salary reviews, and company policy-compliant benefits at the country level
• Collaborate with external partners, such as occupational health care and employment pension company, acting as the main point of contact
• Drive employee wellbeing and culture development, and coach managers to enhance their leadership skills

What we expect from you:

You have wide experience in HR management and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. Your strong business acumen allows you to bring valuable insight to our organization, lead development initiatives and coach line managers. Your comprehensive understanding of employment legislation is crucial in this role. With excellent negotiation and influencing skills, you are in your element in a collaborative work environment. We don’t expect you to know everything, but the person we're looking for has a 'can do' attitude and is ready to learn.

• Academic degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience
• Experience with all people processes across the employment lifecycle
• Sound knowledge of the labor codex and other legal aspects related to HR, familiarity with Finnish Energy’s collective agreements is a plus
• Proficiency in HR systems, processes, and tools, underscoring the importance of data quality
• Solid business acumen complemented by a strong internal and external customer service focus
• Fluent in Finnish and English, our internal company language is English
