Due to the continued growth of our Domestic sales channel, we are looking for an ambitious, sales -oriented and self-driven Key Account Manager to join our team.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Domestic Lead, the Key Account Manager will operate across the customer and brand matrices, assisting with operational matters as well as taking ownership of a portfolio of strategic accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple customers, including strategic key accounts, in a challenging role that involves both support and leadership elements.
Key Responsibilities:
The role:
· Develop and execute strategic business plans for their assigned customers.
· Conduct contract, price and selection negotiations and monitor their implementation.
· Support the Domestic Lead in the development of new accounts.
· Deliver robust distribution, availability, visibility, and campaign plans for their assigned customers.
· Plan and manage campaigns throughout the trading year.
· Analyze performance trends and react quickly and decisively based on the analyses.
· Prepare for and lead customer facing meetings.
· Gather key customer information to inform the customer’s strategy.
· Manage and process invoices, claims and campaign deductions to agreed levels.
· Complete new line forms and price change forms as required.
· Analyze customer sell-out data and other needed data to build growing business and accurate forecasts.
The successful applicant:
· At least 3-5 years sales experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
· Experience of working with K-Group in a ‘seller’ capacity.
· Baby and Period Care category experience is desired but not essential.
· (Excellent) written and spoken communication skills (must speak fluent English and Finnish).
· Demonstrable experience of building successful, collaborative and lasting customer relationships.
· Confident user of Microsoft Office suite and other BI tools.
· Confident user of S-Group and K-Group data.
· Able to use data to influence, challenge and enable change.
· A strategic thinker with a solutions-orientated mindset.
· Educated to degree-level (BBA, M.Sc. (Econ.)).
· Be commutable to the Veikkola 3 days per week.
· Full clean driving license.
We offer an interesting position in a growing and agile Finnish family-run business, where you can influence the operations of the entire company with your own expertise. Your workstation is in Kirkkonummi, Veikkola (approx. 30min from Helsinki city centre). There may also be occasional work assignments at our other office in Tammisaari. The task requires flexibility and intermittent readiness to travel, so a driver's license is necessary.
