We’re looking for a Operations Controller to join Metsä Tissue's global operations controllering team at our Espoo location.
What is the job that awaits you?
In this role, you will take ownership of monthly operations reporting and KPI follow-up, ensuring our performance metrics are consistently monitored and optimized. You will develop and enhance reporting processes to provide actionable insights that support decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include controlling various logistics activity prices, overseeing inventory valuation, and conducting in-depth efficiency and benchmarking analyses.
As a key player in our finance and controlling development initiatives, you will contribute to process harmonization and the implementation of best practices, ensuring continuous improvement across the organization. This role offers a diverse and dynamic set of tasks, where you will be integral to driving both operational and financial excellence.
What kind of skills are we looking for?
You hold a master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business administration, finance, or accounting, and you have a few years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or a manufacturing environment. You have a strong interest in financial figures, operational KPIs, and technology, paired with solid IT skills and a passion for working with data and systems. You are experienced with SAP or similar ERP tools, and ideally, you are also familiar with PowerBI or other visual reporting platforms. You are a flexible team player with strong communication and collaboration skills. Your analytical mindset is complemented by a proactive and independent approach to work. Additionally, you are well-organized, results-oriented, and excel at managing tasks efficiently. You are also fluent in both written and spoken English and Finnish.
