Steerprop is seeking a skilled Project Manager to take care of fit-for-purpose propulsion system projects on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for steering projects from their initiation through to the end of the warranty period, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness at every stage. You’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders - including customers, sales, engineering, procurement, production, and suppliers - while contributing to the continuous development of project management practices as part of our expert team.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing projects from initiation through to the end of the warranty period, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
Collaborating with key stakeholders, including customers, sales, engineering, procurement, production, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project delivery.
Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, maintaining high levels of efficiency throughout all stages of the project.
Contributing to the development and improvement of project management practices as part of an expert team.
We expect you to have:
Several years of experience in project management of multidiscipline delivery projects
Experience in project scheduling, cost monitoring and reporting
General understanding of different design disciplines and design coordination
The ability to lead a project team with a positive approach, responsibly and in a solution-oriented way
A proactive and organized work style, combined with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
Understanding of technical production processes and technology in different industries
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good written and oral skills in English and Finnish
Willingness to travel
We are looking for candidates with strong technical competence, preferably holding a B.Sc or M.Sc degree. Experience in the following areas will be considered an advantage: site operations, including installation supervision or commissioning; technology procurement and contract management, including related negotiations; and managing interfaces between various stakeholders, such as authorities, equipment and service suppliers, contractors, shipyards, and shipowners. This diverse experience will be valuable in ensuring the smooth execution and success of our projects
