We are looking for a Service Engineer to join Axopar´s growing community
Axopar is looking for a new Service Engineer to join our dynamic Service team. This role involves providing technical support to Axopar Dealers, handling warranty and after-sales services, and developing service campaigns.
As a Service Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Dealer Support Team, where you will provide comprehensive technical support, manage warranty cases, and assist with service sales and repair work. Your role will involve advising Dealers on Axopar products and solutions, ensuring that they are equipped to carry out arrival inspections, pre-commissioning checks, and final handovers effectively. Additionally, you will lead or support service campaigns, including the creation of service bulletins and retrofit instructions, and you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and training Dealers, either virtually or on-site.
A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to collaborate closely with our Sales, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Product Management teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and meet the expectations of our customers.
The position occasionally requires international travel and offers the opportunity to work independently while also collaborating with a global network of partners. Position is full-time and permanent, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, working from our Helsinki office.
What we expect from you?
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Service Engineer or a similar position within an engineering or service environment, ideally within the marine industry. Strong IT skills, including for example expertise in Salesforce or other ERP systems, as well as experience with data analysis tools like Power BI, will be essential. You should also have a solid understanding of after-sales and service processes. A formal qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering (BSc or higher) is desirable, although equivalent experience in boat building will also be considered.
In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication abilities in English, both written and verbal, and be comfortable traveling internationally as required. A proactive, customer-focused approach, along with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset, will be key to your success in this role.
