What kind of summer job awaits you?
We are looking for a summer trainee to join us at 3D demo plant as assistant process specialist. The work consists of logistic coordinator work and quality analyses of the pulps and 3D-products, assistance work on pilot machine trials, support research work with laboratory size 3D machine and laboratory coating device. You will work hands-on with our new innovative technology. In this role, you will work in close co-operation with our project personnel and you will be supported by our process specialists and of course, you will get to network with the other summer trainees in the program.
Innovation is at the core of the 3D fibre product project – a joint development project between Metsä Spring and Valmet. The 3D pilot line in Äänekoski produces pure and safe three-dimensional fibre products made of wood fibres to replace plastic packages. Learn more about Muoto on our product site.

What we expect from you?

To be successful in this role, we expect you to study/have studied one of the following fields: Chemical or Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Fibre/Paper Technology, or similar. You need competence in using MS Office tools and we appreciate experience in process industry in production area, in laboratory work and development projects in your studies or previous work assignments.
