Supplier Quality Manager
Eaton´s new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, integrates all current activities into a much larger site. The new campus was opened in April 2024, and the 16,500 m² site will house research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof and will create up to 100 additional jobs.
As one of the world’s largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton’s expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.

What you’ll do:
As a Supplier Quality Manager you are going to be responsible for coordinating Supplier Quality Management for our Critical Power Systems (CPS) division. Your goal will be to ensure CPS Supplier Quality in coordination with CPS SQM.
Your responsibilities will be:
Be the supplier quality lead in NPI (ProLaunch APQP), VAVE (cost-out) and supplier second source projects
Create supplier quality strategy with global Procurement, Global Category Management and CS Supplier Quality
Ensure that Supplier Excellence Manual is followed by suppliers
Develop all preventive quality tools (APQP) with Project Management & direct contributive functions (R&D, Support, etc)
Coordinate PPAP and APQP tools and implementation at CPS level
Train and coach CPS suppliers using the Eaton / supplier quality core tools (PPAP, SEM, FMEA, etc.)
Manage PPAP and FAI approvals for valid and new supplier parts while being the owner of cross-functional team PPAP/FAI reviews in development of new products or changes related to current products
Manage Supplier Quality Management activities, and overall Supplier Quality responsibilities
Define and monitor supplier quality performance KPIs (DMR, DPPM, CONC)
Manage supplier quality audits
Review and evaluate global supplier quality data to follow CAPA actions while identifying improvement opportunities and launch improvement projects when needed
Qualifications:
University degree
Solid experience in supplier quality in the electrical sector
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality Management processes
Strong leadership, project management and communication skills
Fluency in English
Finnish language skills are beneficial
