Would you like to be part of a high-performing HR team in one of the world’s largest banks?
We are looking for a Total Rewards & Governance Specialist to join our Nordic HR Operations team at Santander. In this role you will support how total rewards contributes to sustain a high-performing culture that attracts, engages, retains and rewards. Further, you will support that the HR Governance framework is coherent and compliant in all respects.
The position reports to Head of HR Operations and the role can be located in either Norway (Oslo or Stavanger), Sweden (Stockholm), Finland (Helsinki) or Denmark (Copenhagen).
Key accountabilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Grading of roles
- Submission of salary surveys as part of the annual bench-marking activity
- Creation of salary bands
- Perform analysis and reporting on the Equal pay and Gender Gap situation in our countries
- Lead the bank’s annual local identified staff analysis and process
- Co-lead the Nordic annual salary review process with local country HR point of contact
- Participate and present evidence when audits occur
- C&B expert guiding and advising HR team members and leaders
Governance
- Develop and review HR policies, procedures and guidelines (where required present material changes to relevant governing bodies)
- Ensure that data and information is managed in accordance with all data privacy compliance requirements - legislation and policy (GDPR)
- Carry out quality assurance checks on the output of the HR team
- Review current processes and procedures and identify areas that can be improved and moved in line with best practice
- Ensure that all HR processes and procedures are documented and maintained consistently and updated when changes apply
The Total Rewards & Governance Specialist will be key user of several HR tools (Workday, Power-BI...) and lead or contribute on various HR Projects. Upcoming projects are renewal of our job architecture and digitalisation of C&B in Workday.
Your profile
To thrive in the role as Total Rewards & Governance Specialist at Santander you have strong analytical thinking and possess solution-oriented skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and draw meaningful insights. Further, you have experience with masterdata and data analytics tools (e.g. and preferably Workday & Power BI) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit, especially Excel. As a person you are proactive by nature with strong initiative and comfortable working both independently and in team, next to meeting deadlines.
The role requires fluency in English and as well fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages. Preferable a higher degree in HR, law and/or finance.
