We are now looking to recruit a full-time Accountant to join our forward-thinking Finance team, based in our Helsinki office. In this role, you will be a key member, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounting data in accordance with the local legislation. Make a significant impact with us!

What will You be doing?

You will be a key member, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounting data, while playing a significant role in the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting and financial closing processes.

Your key responsibilities:
Performing daily accounting and month-end tasks, as well as year-end processes, in alignment with local legislation and internal guidelines
Managing General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and invoicing
Preparing payments, bank statements, and VAT reporting
Reviewing Travel & Expense (T&E) reports
Supporting intercompany reconciliations
Assisting with financial statements and audit requests
Guiding stakeholders on accounting-related inquiries
Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies and principles

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a global business environment
Experience with accounting systems; prior experience in EmCe and PeopleSoft is a plus
Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, who enjoys supporting others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Finnish and English
