Project Engineer - Power-to-Liquid (PtL)

Finland, Norway, Germany, starting date: soonest, fulltime, experience: 5 years

Your main tasks
-You will take on the project management of technical processes and developments, working closely with our project management team to implement effective solutions
-You will lead the permitting processes for our plant(s), including EIA and zoning processes
-You will be responsible for overseeing the FEED contractor at our plant(s), including managing engineering deliverables and coordinating interfaces with the permitting contractor
-You will define project scopes, develop technical specifications, and establish milestones for tenders, selecting contractors through techno-economic evaluations for engineering services
-You will assist in coordinating our engineering work in the Nordics, including but not limited to technology scouting, permitting engineering, cost management, FEED contractor follow-up, and HSE
-You will coordinate processes with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and service providers in the various phases of the project(s)
-You will be responsible for executing and ensuring compliance with the project schedule, creating cost and effort estimates, and monitoring project budgets and quality goals, while also overseeing cost follow-up
-You will integrate your know-how in the further development of our project portfolio - from site identification to the first tons of e-Fuel being produced

Your profile:
-You hold a university or technical college degree, preferably in civil, electrical, automation, or process engineering
-You have 5 years of experience in relevant technical project engineering roles, including project management principles
-You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in other Scandinavian languages being a plus - particularly if you are fluent in Finnish
-You have experience working with authorities on permit processes and grid planning
-Experience in contract management and contract tendering is a plus
-You are preferably based in Norway, Finland, or Germany
-You have strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to efficiently manage and report on project progress
