We are looking for welders for a permanent position for our client Uwira Oy in Vaasa.
Who is Uwira Oy?
We are one of the most experienced manufacturers of pipe components and prefabricated parts in our field. Over time, we have developed into an excellent producer of pipeline assemblies and modular solutions. We constantly consider how we can execute the customer's project most efficiently through different assembly or modular solutions. Our company culture is based on the "Uwira-way" thinking, where every employee is encouraged to grow and improve in their role.
We are part of the Leinolat Group, a family-owned company whose values are based on continuous development, collaboration, trust, and transparency.
Your responsibilities:
Your tasks will include TIG/MAG/MIG welding of industrial pipes and piping systems. Having valid welding certifications is an advantage but not a requirement, as training can be provided at the start of the employment. Passing the certification test is, however, a condition for employment.
The materials you will be working with are black steel pipes and stainless steel, with thicknesses mainly varying between 1-7mm.
The work is primarily done at the production facility during day shifts from 7:00 to 15:30. However, as the workforce grows, Uwira is transitioning to a two-shift system, so we hope you are prepared for shift work.
WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Training and experience in the metal industry and similar tasks
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Valid fire- and work safety certificates
- Efficient and meticulous work approach
- Ability to work independently as part of a team
- Professional pride and a positive attitude towards work
- Willingness to commit to long-term employment
WE OFFER YOU:
- Full-time employment (40 hours/week)
- The possibility of permanent employment with the client
- Comprehensive orientation to your tasks
- Support from a team of professionals
- An inspiring work environment with approachable supervisors
- Salary according to the Technology Industry Collective Agreement, depending on your skills and experience
- The opportunity to earn bonuses for good performance
- Occupational health services through Terveystalo starting from the first working day
- Professional and language assistance, as well as advice on employment matters
- Bolt's own app, which allows you to manage your employment matters easily
- This is a permanent position, with the intention of becoming directly employed by Uwira after the probationary period. The work will begin in August or according to an agreement.
APPLY NOW!
Apply quickly, as we are reviewing applications and interviewing candidates during the application period. You can attach your CV, preferably in PDF format. We also kindly ask you to include a video where you show us your technique in TIG/MAG welding and also your final weld seam. The positions will be filled as soon as suitable candidates are found.
