We are looking for an Electronics designer to join our 20 engineers HW design team for demanding product development projects in Espoo. We create new fine products for our customers in co-operate with Etteplan other teams. Applicant need to have possibility to work and travel in Helsinki Capital area in weekly basis, relocation is not supported by Etteplan.

As Etteplan's expert, you will be part of project teams serving the world's leading machine and equipment manufacturers. We are interested in your expertise, insights, innovation and technical ingenuity.

What do we expect from the applicant?

Design and develop electronic devices
PCB design and component selection
Build and test prototypes
Maintain and update documentation
We require the applicant to have:

Relevant technical education (e.g., degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering)
Good experience in digital and analogue technology
Circuit diagram and PCB design experience with Pads Pro or Altium
Knowledge of electronics simulation tools
Electronics testing and reporting skills
Systematic and analytic problem-solving skills
Fluency in both Finnish and English
Smarter together mindset, strong cooperation and communication skills
We appreciate:

Understanding EMI / EMC concepts and debugging
Ability to read standards and directives and together with Chief design engineer define electronics product requirements
Knowledge of the electronics design process all the way to production and maintenance
