Your role and responsibilities
We are now looking for two new HR trainees to join our team in HR Services Vaasa. In these roles you will be handling daily HR tasks and supporting our global HR transformation and the implementation of one global Workday system. Additionally, we are currently launching a new local time management system JotBar in Finland. Please note that you must be a student to be considered for this position.
The roles are temporary with contracts ending 31.12.2025.
This position reports to HR OP Payroll Team Lead
The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Processing service and project related tasks, which can be related to service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Compensation & Performance, Payroll, People Analytics and HRIS)
- Providing a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all e.g. via ticketing tool and phone service
- Stakeholders, while ensuring that quality controls are maintained
- Identifying opportunities for improvement based on feedback and experience
- Preparing accurate reports and documents
- Coordinating communication to different stakeholders, creating communication material, and participating in change
- Management related work
- Ensuring high level of data quality and accuracy and providing on-demand reports where required
- Your responsibility areas can be adjusted based on your skills
Qualifications for the role:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. level studies from a relevant field such as HR, International Business or similar
- Previous experience in Human Resources related tasks is appreciated
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP HR, MS Office, Workday and/or JotBar is seen as a benefit
- Abilities to manage multiple stakeholder demands and to adapt to changing situations
- A team player attitude with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
- An efficient, solution-oriented approach to work
- A proactive way of working with a "can-do" attitude
- Fluency in Finnish, both in written and spoken with excellent communication skills
- Possibility to work 20-37,5 hours per week
- Previous experience from project work is considered a benefit
