We are looking for a

Quality Engineer, Production

In this versatile position you will monitor production quality, develop quality assurance methods and practices. Our production and R&D globally will be your key stakeholders in addition to internal interfaces such as sourcing, R&D, HR and the rest of the SSQ team. In this position you aim for the continuous improvement of our product quality and productivity.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

- Production quality assurance development
- Supervisor of quality inspectors in production support, quality gate inspectors and production documentation team
- Coordinating of mechanics and hydraulics problem solving during production
- New steel structures manufacturability development by analyzing 3D scanning results and developing the 3D scanning process

To shine in this position, we hope you have:
- Competences: ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems, quality tools
- MSc/BSc in engineering or industrial engineering or sufficient technical education
- Some years' experience of business processes in manufacturing industry and steel structures manufacturing processes (laser cutting, welding, machining)
- Knowledge and experience about quality management methods and quality tools, some experience of using 3D CAD design software, for example Solidworks
- Good ICT skills (Office environment, PowerBi)
- Collaboration and interaction skills - ability to influence others and make people engage to development and working towards common goals
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
- Assertive, service and follow-through mind-set and self-driven working methods
- Talent to manage multiple tasks and respond to quickly changing priorities
