We are looking for you,

Business Solution Manager (Energy Trading and Risk Management system) 

to the Commodity Derivatives Operations team in Espoo. The team is part of Neste’s treasury, which is a group of talented and analytical treasury and risk professionals. 

We are looking for an experienced business solution owner to manage maintenance, development and deployment of Neste’s Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solution Allegro. The system is used to manage physical and financial trades that relate to commodities.

You will have a pivotal role in system and process development, acting as an interface between business people and technical development. You are innovative and active to drive operational excellence.

More about the job

Your role in our team 

• Provide daily support for users of the ETRM system

• Coordinate ETRM system development initiatives 

• Manage ETRM Middle Office and Commodity Back Office related configuration changes

• Develop processes together with process owners

• Represent Middle Office and Commodity Back Office in system development projects

• Take ownership of system documentation

You will collaborate closely with commercial teams, system providers and other teams in Treasury and risk management. 

Keys to success in this role

You are able to work independently and you have excellent communication skills. You are used to working in matrix organization. You enjoy problem solving and process development is close to your heart. Additionally, we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position would be: 

• Technical knowledge in order to efficiently communicate with development teams and enable the implementation of development ideas

• Your educational background is e.g. M.Sc. level studies in IT

• You are familiar with one or more ETRM systems and you have previous experience in system administration role, knowledge of SAP is seen as an advantage

• You are able to work proactively, independently and persistently

• You have strong interest in development and ability to carry through ideas into practice with can-do attitude

• Familiarity with commodity trading gained through working in an utility or energy company

• Strong interpersonal skills
