Key responsibilities

As a Data Platform Specialist at Korkia, you will play a key role in delivering business insights, guiding decision-making, and supporting growth. With data becoming increasingly vital to Korkia’s success and growth, we are continually enhancing our platform to stay ahead. In this role, you will provide valuable insights to Korkia’s leadership, finance team, and the leadership of our development companies. With a strong focus on development, we encourage you to actively contribute ideas for leveraging data to drive even greater business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and enhancing the data platform: using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Power Apps to continuously improve our platform’s functionality and efficiency.
• Creating insights and visualizations: designing metrics, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights and empower stakeholders.
• Integrating new data sources: integrating and managing external and internal data sets to enhance decision-making.
• Leveraging generative AI: exploring and implementing generative AI solutions to derive deeper insights, automate tasks, and develop advanced analytical tools.
• Automating and optimizing workflows: streamline data preparation, transformation, and reporting processes to boost productivity.

Korkia is looking for:

• A relevant higher education degree (e.g., industrial engineering or other technical degree)
• Experience: 2+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
• Expertise in Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) and Power Apps (automation and app creation)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, HTML/JavaScript, or similar technologies
• Exposure to generative AI tools and techniques (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI)
• Proactive working style and an ability to think ahead to build scalable solutions
• Full working proficiency in English; Finnish skills are a strong advantage

Practicalities:

This is a full-time and permanent position, and the ideal starting time is as soon as possible. You will be employed directly by Korkia. Their office is located in Helsinki, we hope you can work in the office a few days per week as part of a hybrid model. Salary in this position is around 3500-4500 €/month (gross depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually).
