Your role with us
As a Business Controller, you will act as a strategic business partner to our group functions, such as HR and Sustainability, ensuring alignment with Lumene Group’s strategic objectives from a financial perspective. You will actively collaborate with internal stakeholders and produce analyses, forecasts, budgets, and reports that empower these functions and professionals to excel in their roles.
In addition, you will support internal process and system improvements and participate in projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. By working closely with both local and international colleagues, you will contribute to discussions, share your insights, and play a key role in Lumene Group’s growth journey.

We expect you to have:
- Proven experience as a business controller or in a similar financial role for several years, supported by a relevant higher education degree
- Strong understanding of accounting and business operations with an analytical and results-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and financial systems
- Effective communication skills in English
Additional valuable skills:
- Prior experience working as a business partner in a group setting
- Finnish and/or Swedish skills
- Familiarity with SAP and Power BI or equivalent systems

Practicalities:
In this full-time and permanent position you’ll be employed directly by Lumene Group. The starting date is as soon as possible, as per agreed with the chosen candidate. Working model is hybrid so you have the possibility to work remotely. But the time spent together is valuable for us so we expect you to work most days at Lumene Group’s HQ in Espoo, Kauklahti.
Salary in this position will be negotiated individually based on your previous experience.
