Metsä Board Sales and Supply Chain is looking for a fixed-term
SALES & OPERATIONS EXECUTION (S&OE) SPECIALIST
to be part of S&OE Planning team. S&OE Specialist is responsible for mills’ S&OE short-term plan and daily availability management and it is responsible of managing and developing production fine planning. In this role you will report to S&OE Team leader and can be located at one of Metsä Board mills in Finland or Husum in Sweden, or in Espoo Head Office. The position is fixed-term until end of November 2025. Preferred start would be during October 2024.
What will you get to do?
In this role you will
Create (monthly) and maintain (daily) production blocks in the S&OE horizon to guarantee customer availability
Creating detailed production plans for Metsä Board mills
Maintain orders in case of production changes, inform possible order delays according to the agreed delay handling procedure
Utilizing free stock and maximizing the circulation of it
Planning and coordination of external and internal converting
Monitor production and handle exceptions
Guarantee supply availability for customers by handling orders with production availability restrictions, according to the agreed exceptional availability process
Monitor MTS replenishment quantities and handle manual MTS replenishments in problem situations
What are we expecting of you?
We expect you to have position relevant education and a good understanding of the demand and supply planning process, daily availability management & production scheduling. To be successful in this position, you should be proactive and excellent at problem solving. You also need to have good prioritization and cooperation skills. You have experience with SAP APO or a similar ERP system and experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). We require fluent spoken and written communication skills in English but also Finnish and/or Swedish skills are required.
