Software Engineer - Customer Support
Are you ready to take on new software challenges in a dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Customer Support SW Team at our Ulvila headquarters.
As a Software Engineer, you'll design and implement modifications to our existing customers' WCS software, while supporting the System Support team in problem-solving. You'll handle both small changes independently, with the support of our team, and larger modifications in project teams. Your main objective will be learning the latest Cimcorp software technologies used in customer projects or specializing in our Cell Controller software. You'll also participate in the commissioning of modifications, which typically lasts only a few days to a couple of weeks. You’ll travel up to 40 days a year.
What you’ll need to succeed
A higher education qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Software Engineering).
Experience in software engineering with Java, Java EE, SQL, Progress, and Oracle databases.
Strong communication skills, comfortable working with team members and customers from diverse cultures.
A quick learner with the ability to absorb new information efficiently.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Knowledge of software deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Maven) is a plus.
