What kind of summer job awaits you?

The tasks at credit management range from routine and assisting tasks to larger projects with more responsibility and development work carried out independently, depending on your own experience and willingness to develop your competencies.

Credit management team is a centralized group organization, responsible for the operational credit management and credit control for customers in Nordics and Baltics for all legal entities within Metsä Group.

The main duties will involve contacting customers who are late with their payment, both collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced and goal oriented collections department. You will be working independently and proactively, within the guidelines set by your operational superior. For the right candidate, we can also offer the possibility to get insight into financial analysis of customer credit risk.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to be reliable, flexible, proactive and cooperative. We value your ability to work independently, and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.

The job requires good IT skills, ability to cope with pressure and good communication skills in Swedish and English. Fluent Finnish will also be considered as an advantage. Strong analytical skills are as well a plus.

The summer job in the credit management team is suitable for university students of economics or similar field.

This is an anonymous recruitment process. The gender and date of birth of the applicant are not asked for on the application form. Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.

Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited for interview once the applicant has been selected for interview.

Our system will guide you through the application process. The questions on the application form will help you present your skills and experience anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you’re invited for interview, your CV will be displayed to the recruiters to support the interview.
