What kind of summer job awaits you?

The summer job is related to product portfolio management. In the job, you get to participate in technical projects and make studies on, for example, the usability and processability of products for different packaging solutions. You will be able to carry out independent research and draw conclusions using data sources. In the technical marketing team, we also carry out competitor monitoring and projects on carton usability, for example in digital printing. As a summer intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in these projects as well.

The job can be located either in Espoo or in Tampere or in other mill location.

What are we expecting of you?

We expect you to be reliable, flexible, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with good interpersonal skills, good communication skills and a good attitude to work. We value your ability to work independently and your willingness to learn and develop on the job.

Good IT skills and English language are essential. Finnish language skills are an asset (but not a must), other language skills would be an advantage. The role will possibly require travelling in Finland.

This summer job is best suited for an advanced level university student (more than 3 years of studies) – or a student in the thesis phase. We value technical knowledge and hope that you already have some knowledge or experience of paper or board making or converting.

Anonymous recruitment – this is how it works

This is an anonymous recruitment process. The gender and date of birth of the applicant are not asked for on the application form. Personal details such as name, mother tongue, time of studies, name of educational institution and contact details are hidden until the interview stage. Attachments (such as CVs) are also hidden.

Recruiters have access to the contact details of those invited for interview once the applicant has been selected for interview.

Our system will guide you through the application process. The questions on the application form will help you present your skills and experience anonymously. Answer all questions carefully. If you’re invited for interview, your CV will be displayed to the recruiters to support the interview.
